Many of the issues I work with can be taken care of in a few sessions. It’s just a matter of the client and myself doing a few regular phone sessions and them doing their homework.

When it comes to creating and/or growing a private practice (or any business) there are many more moving parts. There isn’t just one issue because we are doing so many different tasks (with many of the tasks being new to us).

Over the last year I have been doing more and more practice-building coaching. Based off of this work I have realized there are 4 main areas of focus when it comes to helping my practice-building clients.

The program has 4 parts:

1) Self Sabotage
One of the biggest obstacles we face in creating and growing our business is getting out of our own way. Much of the time we know what we need to do, but for some reason it just doesn’t get done. Time and again I hear from practitioners who say they know what they need to do but just can’t seem to act.

I have created a special 10-step system that does three things:

  • 1) It helps us to clarify what we want.
  • 2) It helps to identify what steps need to be taken.
  • 3) It identifies all limiting beliefs and emotional charges that are preventing us from taking the actions we need to take.

The system comes with over 2 hours of audios and a pdf workbook. You can use the system for tasks as big as starting a new business and as small as rearranging your office.

2) Managing The Business
All of the steps I take to run my business are small simple steps. If you look at any one task by itself it is no big deal. The problem is making sure that they all get done and get done in the right order. That is the reason why I have created systems for every part of my business. I have systems for client intake, client follow up, creating content, maintaining my newsletter, and all of my marketing efforts. I even have a system to manage my to-do list. Because there is a system for everything, it is easy to manage.

I have created a six-lesson class that consists of 16 audios and 17 videos. The videos are screen captures of my computer screen so you can see exactly how I do everything. The six lessons are:

3) Copywriting
If we are going to grow our businesses we are going to need to be able to communicate what we have to offer. Just because we can provide great service to clients doesn’t mean they are just going to telepathically know about how we can help them experience great transformation in their lives.

When most people read the word “copywriting” they immediately think of super-aggressive sales copy. It doesn’t have to be that way. It is possible to talk about what you have to offer without feeling like a snake-oil salesman.

In this system I explain exactly how I craft every piece of writing that is going to communicate how I can help clients. This is true for something as small as a business card and as long as a letter selling a live class.

In the system, not only do I explain exactly how I do it but I show you three real world examples of copy that I have used in the past. Each of these three pieces of copy is accompanied with an audio where I explain in detail every choice I made in writing the copy.

4) One-On-One Coaching
There are three skills that I have to offer my clients. They are experience, expertise, and distance.

  • Experience: I have worked with lots of clients. At this point in my career there are very few things that a client is going to say that is going to surprise me. Even when they are experiencing something that is new to me I have worked with so many types of issues that I have a plan of attack.
  • Expertise: All my clients know how to tap, but because of my training I am able to help them find root issues faster. Because of this expertise we can achieve more in one hour than my clients can in one full month (or more) on their own.
  • Distance: Often times we are so close to our own issues that we can’t see what is really going on. By not being emotionally entangled in what my clients are experiencing and by being at a distance, I am able to see things clearer than they can.

Not only does working with someone else provide the benefits listed above, it also creates an accountability structure. When we have someone walking a path with us we are more likely to do what we need to do.
